2. Principles

This website does not use cookies, tracking or advertising networks. Only data required to operate the website and answer your enquiries is processed.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE. When you visit the website, the host automatically processes server log data (e.g. IP address, time of access, page requested, browser type) to the extent technically necessary to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. Log data is retained only for as long as it is required to operate and secure the website, and is deleted afterwards.

4. Contact

If you contact me by phone, email or form, I process the data you provide (name, contact details, project information, message) to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact form

The project enquiry form is processed on this website's own web server (IONOS SE, see section 3). No external form service is used; your details are not passed to any third party and are not stored in a database.

On submission the fields you filled in are turned directly into an email and delivered to ht@timbaman.de. After that the data resides solely in my mailbox; no copy remains on the web server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures), otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Name, email address and your message are required; all other fields are optional and only help me assess your project more quickly.

To guard against automated submissions the form contains a field invisible to you and a check of how long filling it in took. No cookies are set and no data is transferred to third parties.

I delete your enquiry no later than six months after it has been dealt with, unless a business relationship arises from it. If it leads to a contract, the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law apply (six and ten years respectively).

6. Web analytics

This website performs no web analytics. No cookies are set, no usage behaviour is evaluated and no third-party tracking services are embedded.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for Berlin this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

8. Status

This policy will be updated as the website’s functionality changes (e.g. activation of the form service).
